These hamper baskets are individually handmade by skilled craftsmen. The willow is harvested before being soaked to make it malleable for weaving. Each basket is woven entirely by hand before a water based varnish is applied. 

The wicker used to weave the baskets is fully sustainable. It can be harvested twice each year as it grows so quickly. The next crop grows from the very same roots making it very sustainable. Willow is also fully biodegradable and can be repurposed and recycled time and time again.

The straps and hinges added to the baskets are vegan, made from high-quality synthetic leather. They look and feel like real leather, but are completely animal and cruelty-free.
